Why is my hamster's cheek swollen, eye moist, and breathing heavy?

I noticed today my hamster has a big right cheek and it’s reddish orange underneath and his right eye is smaller then the left and I little moist. He is also breathing a little heavier, his tail is not wet though. Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 5 months old

Thanks for reaching out about Cooper and including a photo. Impacted or infected cheek pouches are not uncommon. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Try massaging the cheek pouch in an attempt to empty it. Good luck.
