Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 7 lbs
Just a curiosity I have a cat that use to have Large pupils in the dark and small in the bright light... A while now his pupils are always small regardless of the brightness... He seems to see just fine and I have tried to test his eye sight for stereoscopic vision by seeing if he misses when jumping or catching a toy... Note he has three legs and he is fixed...

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This doesn't sound normal to me and good thinking with the at home vision tests. There may be something abnormal going on with his vision that should be checked out with an eye exam at your veterinarian's office. There, your vet should be able to tell you what the issues with his eyesight may be. I hope this helps!

This is a condition called anisocoria - it can be caused by an injury or a serious infection in the eye, or by a neurologic problem causing a problem with the nerves that control the pupils. This is always a concerning problem, so I would recommend having Emmy examined by a vet as soon as you are able to. He/she can do a complete neurologic exam and also do some eye testing if needed to help determine what is causing the problem and what can be done to treat it.

If it is this mild and comes and goes then yes, it probably is normal and will likely reduce as she matures. If it is persistent or she shows any sign of pain or discomfort I would get her checked by your vet
