Our puppy 1 year and a couple of months old was recently sterilized. She was given Clavent 50mg twice a day. She doesn't want to eat or drink water on her own. This is day 5. She was diagnosed with mucometra. Should I be worried. Pet's info: Dog | Japanese Chin | Female | spayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 8.8 lbs

If the medication being given isn't helping and Sushi has been refusing food and water for nearly a week it is best to bring her back to your vet ASAP. It is possible there is an infection that requires different or IV antibiotics to target it, and IV fluids and other treatment are needed to help with dehydration and loss of appetite.
