Does food added to my dog's kibble count as diet or 10% treats?

If I’m adding 1/2 cup to my dogs food every day to her kibble, will I count that towards the 10% of extras in her diet or do I count that as part of her diet? please explain, thank you! Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 7 years and 2 months old | 17 lbs

If you are adding 1/2 cup of food to her diet then that counts towards her diet. Treats should only be less than 10% of the dogs diet b/c they are generally higher in calories. Also considering Chloe's age, I would recommend getting her on a senior diet if not done so already. I hope that this helps answer your question. Best of luck with your pet Chloe moving forward.
