My cat has white things on her behind. Are these cat worms contagious?

My neighbours cat which continuously runs through our house for hugs and kisses has been acting abnormal. I noticed that she has gotten smaller and i saw white things on her behind. I am not sure but I am thinking she has worms. Can we get infected? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed
