My kitten ate garlic chicken. Will he be okay since he has a cold?

I fed my kitten chicken seasoned with garlic before remembering that garlic is toxic to cats. It was only a little bit but I'm worried because his health is already compromised since he has a cold (I'm giving him veterinarian prescribed medicine for that). Will he be okay? If you're worried, I recommend having him seen by your vet to check a CBC, which looks at his red and white blood cell values.
