My cat has belly fluid, isn't pooping, but acts normal. Can I give Cat Lax?

My cat has fluid building up in her abdomen her activity and eating and playing is normal but isn’t pooping.. Is it okay to give her Cat lax to make her use the bathroom without making her situation worst until she can get drained

Poor kitty. It should be ok to give her a laxative to help her poop if she is straining to go. However, I would strongly suggest taking her in to a vet soon as you can to have her looked at. Hopefully she contines to have a good attitude, eat and remains stable until you can get her seen. I wish Hope well moving forward. Take care.
