Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 60 lbs
Quinn has always had this lump on the top of her head and it was no big deal. Even when we’ve taken her to our very trusted vet they never said anything about it but it’s noticly visable and you can feel it too. Now it’s going bald there and you can reaallly feel it. We have a appointment made but any idea what may be going on ??

I do see the hair loss there now. Without feeling this in person it is very difficult to say what this is exactly, but it could be a cyst, a fatty mass, or a malignant tumor. The next best step in dealing with this growth is to have it tested through your vet. A simple needle aspirate or biopsy of it which is then sent the lab should be able to clear things up for us so that we know how best to proceed with this growth. If it is benign, then it should simply be left alone and monitored. I do hope that this is nothing to worry about for your pet Quinn. Best of luck moving forward. Take care.
