Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 19 years and 7 months old | 9.5 lbs
Hi we just discovered two days ago that Tony’s potassium level is low so my vet has increased his dosage of tumil k. I was told that low potassium can cause lack of appetite which tony has had recently. Everything else in his labwork is normal. Any ideas to help him eat better until his potassium level Gets back to normal? He does already take an appetite stimulant He also eats kidney food normally but has had no interest in it since his appetite has been lacking. Thx!

Warming up the food often will entice cats to eat better. Be sure not to make it too hot. The heating of the food increases the smell and stimulates their olfactory system. I would try that. You can also try feeding some human organic baby food (meat flavors).
