Why is my puppy squatting to pee with no urine and vomiting kibble?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 2 days old | 20 lbs

My 3 month puppy, who is very clean and regular, has been repeatedly squatting to pee with no urine. I checked her temperature- 100.3 degrees. Vomited her lunch. Whole kibbles visible. No issues yesterday

Hi. Poor wick. It sounds like she has either a UTI, or a vaginitis going on. Both are very treatable. I would call your veterinarian for an appointment for an exam and urinalysis. I would also check kidney enzymes to make sure those are healthy too. Good luck
