What did my indoor cat vomit? Looks like plants, not worms.

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 4 months old

Hi there, my cat seems normal... He vomits every once in a while because of cat hair. But just now he vomited a pile that looked like diarrhea at first glimpse... I'm sorry for being disgusting. While cleaning the vomit i found this!! I dunno what's that or what to do. I'm scared these are worms!! My cats were de wormed in February, and they are indoor cats. Sorry for the photos but I'm scared for him and the other cats

That doesn't look like worms. It looks like plant material of some kind. Do you have any indoor plants that he could have eaten? I would just monitor him for now and if this happens again you should take him to your vet for an exam.
