My dog's ear is swollen and feels like an air pocket. Can I treat it at home?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 50 lbs

Hello, the inside top flap area of my dog's ear is swollen, its only one ear. Intuitively I feel he may have hit his ear against something hard while shaking his head. it feels like an air pocket to the touch. Its been like this for at least a week, at one point the swelling seemed to go down, but now, it feels like it has swelled up again. I'm hoping there is something that I can do at home to remedy this. I need a Vet's advice

This looks like an aural hematoma, which is when blood and fluid builds up between the outer layer of the ear. Unfortunately this cannot be treated at home, Buddy needs to see a vet to have it treated. I'd take him into one today.
