According to their website: How to use: Assemble the spray by fitting the pipe properly to spray gun. Spray the solution on the body of your pet from a distance of 10 - 20 cm against the direction of the hair. Spray till the hair of your pet gets wet. Apply on the complete body of animal & give main attention to the affected areas. Allow your pet to air dry instead of towel dry. Precautions: Avoid spraying into eyes. Do not allow your pet to lick after spraying. Wash the hands after use. Spray in a well-ventilated area. Keep the sprayed pets away from heat & flame until he gets dry. I don't see any mentioned side effects. It can take a few weeks sometimes to see symptoms of a tick borne disease.
