My dog has a skin irritation on her leg. When should I see the vet?

My dog has this on her right back leg, I don’t know what it is. Should I take her to the vet?

It may be some minor irritation or infection. Monitor for growth or spread or for discomfort associated with the site. If it doesn't begin to resolve in 2-3 days, then have Lexi physically examined by your veterinarian. If she is licking or chewing at the sot, place an e-collar (cone) on her.
