Why are my kitten's pupils slightly different sizes? Is it normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 months and 1 day old | 7 lbs

There is a slight difference in the size of my kitten’s pupils. It’s not easily seen and only noticeable if you look closely at her eyes for a little while. Is this normal?

If it is this mild and comes and goes then yes, it probably is normal and will likely reduce as she matures. If it is persistent or she shows any sign of pain or discomfort I would get her checked by your vet
