My betta fish is still bloated after pooping. When will she be normal?

Pet's info: Fish | Betta | Female

Hi. I recently purchased a betta fish (female) and she has been bloated due to constipation. However, I finally got her to make a bowel movement but she still seems bloated. Do you know how long it may take for her stomach to return to its normal size?

Thanks for reaching out about Star. The abdomen can be distended due to multiple reasons. Constipation is one, but abdominal fluid, masses, swim bladder disease, are all possible. If eating and defecation, not constipated. A veterinary visit is recommended. Good luck.
