What's this wet, greenish sore on my dog's face with hair loss?

What is this on my dog? This sore is on his face. It has a greenish yellow Wetness. Hair is missing in the spot. He had one of these sores in June that was on his head. There hasn’t been an injury of any kind that I’m aware of. The first pic is a current sore. The second is the one from June. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 2 years and 10 months old | 98 lbs

Hi. This appears to be a hot spot on him. This is basically an area of a moist dermatitis , or skin infection. They are usually secondary to allergies of some type. They are treated at the veterinarian by clipping the area, cleaning it with medicated cleaner, and then antibiotics and antiinflammtories. I'd call your veterinarian in the morning for an appointment
