Can guinea pigs eat leafy greens? Is it safe and how much is okay?

I just want to know what will happen if guinea pigs eat the green things. Can they even eat them?

Thanks for reaching out about Coco. Guinea pigs can eat small amount of dark leafy greens but are prone to bladder stones which are often a result of excess dietary calcium. Too much vegetables can also lead to gastric distress and upset. A veterinary visit can assist with dietary recommendations and more. Good luck.
