Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 8 years and 3 months old
Thank you for the reply Melanie. On Thursday my cat threw up blood and so I took him to the vet. On Friday they did X-rays, ultrasounds and blood test where they found a fist size lump in his intestine that bleed into his stomach and was twisting. Bloods showed it was cancer, and he wasn’t getting oxygen into his intestines. They said it was best to put him down as he wouldn’t handle surgery and it would stress him but I feel guilty as I had no time to process. Would he have survived surgery?

Oh wow, I am so sorry. That is so hard. Don't feel guilty, based on his symptoms, I don't think Dustin would have survived surgery. Letting him go was the best option for him, the kindest thing for him. You let him pass without any further pain or suffering. I hope this helps.
