Can white flying bugs be screw worms that get under my pet's skin?

Pet's info: Dog | Shiba Inu | Male | unneutered | 2 years old | 28 lbs

Are screw worms and Cochliomyia the same thing because I saw white flying bugs outside my backyard today and unfortunely I brought hachi outside. I did some research online and I'm worried that the white flying bugs were screw worms or Cochliomyia. Should I be worried because online says the bugs can get under the skin?

Yes they are the same. Check out this link below on Cochliomyia. As you can see, they look nothing like white bugs. They are black/brown. You do not need to worry. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cochliomyia
