Why is my 11-year-old cat always hungry, meowing, and pulling fur?

Pet's info: Cat | Burmese | Male | neutered | 11 years and 3 months old | 15 lbs

Rafa is always hungry. Continually meeowing and pulls his fur out if you don't feed him

As he is already 11 i would suspect a condition called hyperthyroidism, the main symptoms is constant hunger. you will need to take him to the vet to get it tested, a medical treatment is available for this condition.

    Older cats commonly develop hyperthyroidism. This causes them to be hungrier but they usually are losing weight. Often they are more vocal and sometimes have vomiting and/or diarrhea. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by a veterinarian soon. Blood work will likely be recommended to help diagnose the problem. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon.
