Why does my senior dog have red skin spots with pus and clumpy hair?

My 10 yrs old boxer has big red spots all over his body his hair clunks then the spots come looks like pus or grease. Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | neutered | 56 lbs

It sounds like he might have a skin infection so he should be examined and treated by a vet. He may need an oral antibiotic to treat the infection. You could also bath him with a medicated dog shampoo and see if that helps too.
