Dog's eye touched rabbit poop. Will it cause infection? Symptoms?

My dog was rubbing her face next to some old rabbit poop and a piece of poop might have touched her eye...but I don’t know for sure. If it did touch the surface of her eye, will that cause an infection??? What symptoms would show up and how soon?? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 20 lbs

Probably not. The tear film and constant flushing of the eyes with tears should wash away any infection from simply touching a gross thing. If Zoe starts squinting or having eye discharge, it would be best to have her evaluated by a vet.
