Pet's info: Cat | Asian | Female
A feral cat gave birth in our basement four days ago.I touched and picked up the kittens, and placed them in a warm padded nest (air temperature 38°C) because I thought the mother had abandoned them.I syringe fed them with normal milk mixed with 3/4 drinking water only once. I saw the mother cat return so I placed them outside whilst inside of their make-shift nest. The mother took two of them elsewhere and killed one in the nest.My brother keeps blaming me because I touched them. Is it my fault?

Don't blame yourself, sometimes mother cats will kill their kittens if they sense there is something wrong with them. If it had to do with you touching them, then I suspect she would have killed all three of them.
