Why does my 9-month-old dog have red eyes and yellow goop?

Stewart, my 9 month old English black lab has a slight reddening in his eyes and a small but persistent discharge of yellowish “goop”. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 12 days old | 65 lbs

Hi. Poor Stewart. He may have allergies, conjunctivitis, or some other type of eye infection. He most likely just needs an ointment from your veterinarian. I would get him checked by your veterinarian and then they will prescribe the correct treatment. Good luck
