My injured bird can't fly, stand, or stay awake. What do I do?

I found an Injured bird I can't take it to a vet he can't fly amd Cant even stand On his Own And is Continuously sleeping From morning till now What should I do he isnt having An External injury I mena No wounds or bleeding but the skin under wings is reddish and losing feathee

Thanks for reaching out about your rescued bird. By the photos, he appears very depressed and weak. A veterinary clinic or wildlife rehabilitation society should be contacted. Provide heat support in the 80-85 F range, offer water via a small syringe. Only chance is to try and nurse back to health. Good luck.

    It would be best to try and find a local wildlife rescue near you, or if one isn't available, a local veterinarian to take a look at the bird and assess its injuries. Wildlife centers are best equipped to help properly care for the injured bird and re-released it back into the wild once it's healthy. Keeping the bird in a quiet, dark, cool location is best until you can get care to help reduce stress and strain on its body.
