Why is my male cat peeing blood, breathing fast, and making noises?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old

My male cat (1-year-old) is urinating very frequently. I suspect that there may be blood in his urine. His breathing rate has increased and he often makes strange noises.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Khabeeb. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian right away. Urinary issues can be very severe in male cats. They are prone to developing obstructions in the urinary tract. This is life threatening if the cat becomes unable to urinate. It does not sound like this is Khabeeb's problem yet, but I worry that this could occur without treatment. I hope this information helps!
