Hello, my dog (shih tzu, 4 years old) got injection today at a local vet (for some infectional diseases). Everything was good but about 1-2 hours after he got home he started to feeling pain and he couldn't walk or move his back legs. Instead of lying down he could only sit on his behind, and he was squealing and making sounds like hes in pain. I think he got injection in his back. After we returned immediately to a vet he states he have spine disc injury and its a coincidence, which isimpossibl

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Roki. I would ask your veterinarian to take x-rays of his spine. There are certain changes such as collapsed disc spaces and calcification of intervertebral disc spaces that are consistent disc disease. A dog can be sore from an injection and have swelling in the injection site. This should resolve within 24 hours. I hope this information helps!
