These gums can potentially cause gastrointestinal upset and, if xylitol is inside, can cause profound hypoglycemia and liver toxicity. Gastrointestinal obstruction are possible as well. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately.
