How to litter train my scared new kitten pooping outside the box?

My two months, and 4 days old kitten named necolaj which i adopted 4 days ago is not litter trained and is scared of me. but she pees in the litter but poops at another place. she has pooped twice and at the same place. How do i not scare her but still make her poop and pee at the same place? Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 3 days old

It could be that Necolaj is a bit scared still! If she is going potty in the same place outside of the litter box, moving the litter to that spot may encourage her to start using it. Placing her stool into the litter can also help her learn that this is where to go by smelling her old stool there. An enzymatic cleaner can also be used to clean up any accidents so that she isn't encouraged to keep going potty there as well. If she's still getting used to you, lots of love, patience, kitty treats and a favorite toy can help her get more comfortable over time!
