My new cockatiels are fighting. How long until they bond or mate?

hey there, i purchased disco (male cockatiel) about 4 days ago,and another female cockatiel at the same day together,but the thing is that they are not used to each other,at the beginning they kept fighting but now they alright i guess ,so i’m just wondering ,how long would it take for them to be mates or get used to each other at least?? Pet's info: Bird | Cockatiel | Male | unneutered

Unfortunately this can not be answered as the behavior of individuals are different. Sometimes they pair quickly and occasionally not at all. In the wild, they pick their own mates, they are not picked for them. Squabbling is normal, as they establish hierarchy and territory. Breeding season is usually in the spring, so be patient.
