My dog bit my turkeys. Deep, bloody wounds. Should I see a vet?

My dog had injured 2 of my turkeys pet; the wound mostly around the tail, very deep and bloody; I applied triple antibiotic and covered with fabric; I gave them aspirin; should I find vet for birds on the morning? What is the best care for this kind wounds? The event happened about 7 hoard ago; I just checked on them, they seemed quiet, Thank you

Thanks for reaching out about your turkeys. If the wounds are deep, sutures are recommended to close along with antibiotics and analgesia. Otherwise, infections are likely, especially if outdoors. See a veterinarian first thing in the morning. Good luck.
