My dog is constipated on Tramadol. How can I help her have a bowel movement?

My pet has been taking Tramadol since Saturday. She had a bowel movement yesterday and it was hard. She would not drink water so I put water on her meals. Today she hasn’t had a bowel movement. What can I give so she would not be constipated or have

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Shyla. You can continue to add water to her dry kibble. Offering canned food will increase her moisture content as well. A tablespoon of canned pumpkin can be used as well for the extra fiber to help with bowel movements. I hope this information helps!
