Dog has diarrhea & vomiting on vacation, acting normal. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 7 years and 2 months old | 16 lbs

My dog has had diarrhea for 2 days and he threw up today.. what is wrong with him? We are on vacation right now so i cant really take him to the vet. He has been acting normal. He's been on the beach. The vomit is yellowish.

There are lots of things that could cause vomiting and diarrhea in a dog, including dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. If it persists for 24 hours or if Oscar seems lethargic, I would recommend having him seen by a vet where you are vacationing.
