Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 27 days old | 15 lbs

Vito has a red rash looking spot on his inside leg. Just spotted today, no real behaviour issues, although he did have a pee accident today for the first time in a couple weeks.

That spot on Vito could be several things including an allergic reaction, skin mites, flea bites, ringworm (which humans can get) or a bacterial infection. You can try adding in an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for dogs, this can help improve the skin health. You can wash the lesions with soap once a day and rinse well (don't wash his whole body, just the spot). Protect the area from licking or scratching. If it doesn't start looking better within about a week or if it get worse, have him examined by his veterinarian who may prescribe medications. at his age, accidents do occur but if it continues, have him checked for a bladder infection. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
