Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 13 lbs
I have a rescue cat that we believe is around 7 or 8 years old. I clean her ears normally, gently, and am proud to say that she is free of ear mites. I clean her eft ear, and she is perfectly fine, but when I reach to her right, she growls ferociously as I begin to clean it. I clean with a cotton swab stick, and what really confuses me is that she’s fine with her left ear but not her right. Suggestions?

I would bring her to a veterinarian and have them look down in the canal of her ears. This is to make sure there is no growth, FB or deep rooted infection. That would be the only way to determine why she is sensitive to that ear. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
