Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Fritz. I'm sorry you are having a tough time with her. Moving into a new home is very stressful for a cat, and they do react by hiding and not wanting to come out. Add onto that an illness, and they will behave differently from normal. She will adjust but it will take time. So I would keep her in one room, the bedroom she is currently in. Bring in food, water, and the litter boxes. Get her used to that room first, and keep her there while you are treating her. Once the medication course is done, then you can open the door to the room to let her explore the house. Visit her in the room a couple of times a day, not just to give her medication. Pet her, praise her, and give her treats when she comes out from under the bed. This will show her you care for her, and she will start to trust you. It will get better. I hope this helps.
