Why is my dog eating wood/paper, not eating food, and vomiting water?

My dog isn't eating his food properly and keeps eating all other unnecessary stuff like wood, paper etc... What could be the reason behind it.. And whenever he drinks a lot of water before having food,he pukes a little when he starts eating... Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | 7 months and 23 days old | 38 lbs
