Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | neutered | 6 months and 26 days old | 20 lbs
My 7 month old Corgi was neutered 6 days ago. His incision seems to be healing perfectly and he was very rambunctious and happy immediately following the surgery. At this time he also was given heart worm and flea meds. Unfortunately for the past couple days he has become lethargic and seems to be in pain. He whimpers if I pick him up. I have been successful in getting him to eat a small amount of food each day. its now been over 48 hours, and his most recent Poop is blackish. I’m concerned.

I understand being concerning. I'm wondering if Hank is being given any pain medications. Certain pain medications can have side effects such as GI bleeding, and that could cause the color of his poop. If he's not on pain medication, he may be quite painful leading to the lethargy. I'd have him seen by a vet now to be safe.
