My stray cat is weak, not eating, has skin issues. What can I do?

Hi..I have a stray cat and he has got some skin problems I suppose, recently..he is also not eating anything(since 2 days) and he looks thin and weak..he is not active at all..also I found him missing for days in between and it has been a month since he started this..please help me in identifying the problem..we don't have vets here..what I can do is just buy medicines from a chemist's shop...thank you..

I don't think I can help very much. I can't really tell what is wrong with the skin. Thin, weak, poor appetite, those are things that more likely indicate internal illness. In a stray, unvaccinated cat, FeLV or FIV would be on the top of my list. There is no cure for these viruses. We also can't prescribe medications, even OTC, as it is illegal.
