My year-old rabbit will not transition to adult food. She picks out the young adult food from the mix. Can she stay on young adult food?

Thanks for reaching out about Lola. If by young rabbit food, you mean alfalfa based, then no. Alfalfa is too rich in calcium for long term use and can increase the risk of kidney or bladder stones, or calcium sludge. The higher protein content could also provide more stress to the function of the kidneys. Continue to transition. She will eat it if she is hungry enough. Good luck.
