Please help! I took my kittens to get dewormed at the vet a couple of weeks ago. And after assuming the worst I felt that they weren't sick anymore. Their stool returned to normal (no blood or tapeworms as I could see), and they stopped vomiting. Their other habits stayed normal from the beginning. But to my surprise I'm starting to find baby tapeworms on their cat tree! Theyre really small, but move and tend to be in places where they've recently sat. What can I do?

Due to the lifecycle of tapeworms, more than one treatment is needed to kill all the worms. At least two treatments need to be given two weeks apart. The first kills the adult present, while the second kills the adults that had not yet hatched at the time of the first treatment. You need to take your kittens back into the vet.
