Dog pancreatic cancer: What pharmaceutical treatments are used?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 44.9 lbs

With pancreatic adenocarcinoma and the mean life expectancy being "6months,with medical treatment alone' what does that include? I'm currently using CBC oil , Yunnan baiyao, low fat diet, tramadol if needed and completed round of amoxyclav. Does medical tx involve these things or a more pharmabased approached and what would be the other medications?

It would be more pharmaceutical based and include things like H2 blockers (like Pepcid or Zantac), intravenous fluids, and gastroprotectants. Unfortunately there's no information on dogs using a more holistic approach like your are doing.
