My long-haired cat keeps vomiting. What can I do without a vet?

My cat is a long hair Himalayan Ragdoll mix and she typically pukes every few days due to licking and cleaning. However, today she puked 5 times in a rown and then got exhausted to the point where she wasent breathing properly and was also druling with her mouth open. Her breathing has normalized since the puking and shes on my bed with me acting almost normal again. I was advised to take her to the vet but i dont currently have the money for a vet visit. Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Female | spayed | 7 lbs

Hello. Of course, having your veterinarian check Annabelle would be the best , but if finances are tight, then you need to take a little more control over her grooming. Try to brush her every single day to try & minimize the amount of hair she ingests. If she does not like being brushed, start slow, maybe for a second or two, & reward her. Every day, try to do a little more. Take her off all fish based cat food, canned & dry, & treats. Switch her slowly to a poultry or meat based one. These are readily available, but you need to look at the ingredients ( Purina makes one ). You may need to try a diet dedicated for cats with sensitive stomachs. Hill's pet foods makes one, and you should be able to purchase this at any large pet retailer like Petco. Making these changes may not eliminate all vomiting, but should help.
