Why are my 2-month-old puppies eating less and leaving food?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 3 days old

Just wondering my furbaby had pups 2 months ago, and the pups have started to eat less and leave a fair bit of food left over is that normal??

Puppies generally have big appetites. Not eating as much as usual may indicate illness. I recommend to have the puppies examined and the stool checked for parasites. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
