Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is concerning as it may be an indication that his diabetes is not well-controlled at the moment. I would highly recommend that you check in with a veterinarian as soon as possible to check for this possibility. If this is the case, they can work in getting him to feel better and then possibly focusing in controlling his diabetes better. Best of luck!

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It sounds like Dylan should be seen by a vet - his increased thirst, appetite, and urination can be due to several medical conditions or can be behavioral. However, medical conditions need to be ruled out before his issues are attributed to behavior alone. Possible diseases that can cause these signs include a urinary tract infection or blockage, diabetes, or overproduction of thyroid hormone. Bloodwork and a urine test will be able to give your vet some insight on Dylan’s diagnosis. I hope this helps!
