Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | 11 months and 20 days old | 62 lbs
my 11 months Golden Ret. is all of a sudden lazy and his behavior has changed, I took him yesterday to the vet he said he is overheating "39.9C" and gave him a shot for that, we got back home he felt better and started being active again, I was relieved, but when I woke up this morning I found him lazy again and just lying on the ground with no desire to move a lot or play as usual, should i take him back to the vet or should i give him Antipyretic ? any advice?

Given the persistency of the signs, it is definitively best to have him checked as soon as possible as more investigations are needed at this stage (blood test for sure). Giving antipyretic can only mask the signs at this stage, delaying the diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
