My cat has a cyst on her belly, hiding, and eating less. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Cat | Chartreux | Female | 7 lbs

We found a cyst on her lower abdomen and she’s been hiding a bit and eating less desperately” as usual. We added some topical antibiotics last night. It’s early on the signals been in combination with her age and finding the cyst we are inquiring. Thank you.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This may be a benign or malignant growth. This could even be an infection. This cannot be completely assessed just by looking at pictures and usually requires sampling such as fine needle aspiration to determine its origin. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign.
