Will a low protein, high tryptophan diet help my aggressive dog?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 44 lbs

I have a dog who has been showing increasing signs of aggression I am working with a trainer he has a muzzle for going out but I have been reading about a diet low in protein and high in tryptophan may help is this the case or at least can I try this without making the situation worse

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You may try this though it is unlikely to make a noticeable difference. At least it is not likely to make it worse. The best thing for this is continued training so I’m glad you are already working with a trainer. Best of luck!
