Thank you for submitting your question regarding Pablo. Yes, he appears to be a German Shepherd. As far as being healthy, that cannot be determined without an examination by a veterinarian. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian to have an overall assessment including baseline laboratory work. I hope this information helps!

    These photographs appear to show a healthy puppy. The coat looks to be in good condition and the weight looks normal. As you already realize, looking at a photo is not a substitute for being able to examine the puppy. Looking at the photo, the puppy appears consistent with a purebred German Shepherd. The best way however to know if this puppy is 100% pure bred is to examine the pedigree. Dogs that are 1/8 mixed breed may not show obvious characteristics of the mixed lineage. For the average person however this is not a concern unless they are showing or breeding the puppy. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
